ANNOUNCEMENTS

⚠️* IOWA DNR LEAD SERVICE LINE SURVEY *⚠️ *

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is requiring all cities to conduct a Lead and Copper survey to identify what the service line that enters your home is made of. The DNR is collecting data with the goal of minimizing the level of lead and copper in drinking water. This service line is located where your water meter is at in your home.

Since this is a survey REQUIRED by the State, we will be contacting you until we receive a response, first by mail, then phone calls, or in person.

* DUE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE*

☀️ SUMMER REMINDERS ☀️

KEEP LAWNS MOWED

With all this beautiful sunshine & rain we've been having, please remember to keep your lawns mowed. In accordance with Ordinance 50.02, grasses and weeds must not exceed six inches in height!

Please do not blow grass in the street as you mow your lawns! The yard waste often gets into the storm sewers and can cause blockages.

PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG

We've had several complaints about dog waste being left along the Plum Creek Trail.

Please remember that you are required by City Ordinance 55.15 to pick up after your dog!
Let's all do our part to keep this community a clean and beautiful place to live!
