Residential pickup is every Monday & Tuesday. Please have your garbage set out by 7 am. Tote must be set at the curb, not the street

GARBAGE TOTE PRICES
Citizens of the City of Fredericksburg are required to purchase their garbage totes. The City will not buy back totes after they have been purchased.
Small (35 gallon) tote: $50 | $12.50/month
Large (65 gallon) tote: $110 | $15.50/month
DUMPSTER RENTAL
Regular Garbage/Junk dumpster rental may be kept for one week.
Shingles/Construction dumpster may be kept for two weeks.
The dumpsters may not be used for normal weekly garbage.
Small: 1.5 Yd
Regular Garbage/Junk: $50/dump | Shingles/Construction Waste: $60/dump
Large: 6 Yd
Regular Garbage/Junk: $160/dump | Shingles/Construction Waste: $185/dump
YARD WASTE
The City of Fredericksburg no longer offers yard waste pick-up; You make take yard waste to City Dump site.

RECYCLING
All residents and businesses in the City of Fredericksburg are REQUIRED to recycle.
Recycling pick-up is every other Thursday by Jendro Sanitation
All material must be clean & dry to be picked up. Do not put material in plastic bags. All items may be mixed together in the recycling bin.
ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS
Cardboard, Clean and Flattened, Not mixed with trash
Paper such as newspaper, junk mail, magazines, mixed office paper, & computer paper
Paperback books
Phone Books
Kraft Paper Bags
Empty Aerosol Cans
Metal cans (labels can still be on)
Pots, Pans, Loose Aluminum Foil, etc.
Clear Container Glass (with lids removed)
Plastic # 1 thru # 5 and # 7 (Look for the recycling arrows and number on the container) Lids must be removed and lids under four inch diameter thrown in the trash

Styrofoam of any kind (#6 plastic)
Any dirty or contaminated recyclable material
