The Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Department is comprised of a full roster of 30 dedicated volunteer firefighters, including one cadet, who proudly serve the City of Fredericksburg and the surrounding area.Collectively, the department represents an impressive 293 years of combined service.

Fire Chief: Ray Armbrecht, 33 years of service
Assistant Fire Chief: Jimmy Mitchell, 20 years of service
1st Captain: Tim Moody, 22 years of service
2nd Captain: Aaron Rethamel, 15 years of service
1st Lieutenant: Sheriton Dettmer, 10 years of service
2nd Lieutenant & Training Officer: Ben Benter, 2 years of service
Treasurer/Secretary: Brian Wurzer, 21 years of service
Monthly Business Meeting: 2nd Monday of the month
Monthly Department Training: 3rd Monday of the Month
Annual Omelet Breakfast Fundraiser: 1st Sunday in May
Annual Block Party Fundraiser: 3rd Saturday in August
