Waste Collection:
Residential pickup is every Tuesday. Please have your garbage set out by 7 am. The City requires that all garbage is in a yellow Fredericksburg Waste Collection Bag and placed on the curb, NOT on the street. These bags can be purchased at City Hall, Fredericksburg Food Center or Hardware Hub.
Commercial pickup is on various days during the week. Please contact City Hall for more details.
Recycling:
The City of Fredericksburg requires that all residents and businesses of the City recycle. Recycling pickup is every other Thursday. The City contracts with Jendro Sanitation for the recycling pickup. Stop at City Hall to pick up for recycling bin.
Yard Waste:
The City of Fredericksburg offers a Yard Waste Pickup on Wednesdays starting in the Spring and going until late Fall. If you wish for your Yard Waste to be picked up, it must be in a Fredericksburg Yard Waste Bag and set out by the curb. Sticks must be in bundles and also set out by the curb. Please do not set any of these items in the street. Yard Waste Bags can be purchased at City Hall, Fredericksburg Food Center or Hardware Hub.
