REMINDERS ...

        FYI- your golf cart / UTV Registration for 2017 EXPIRED on Dec. 31, 2017. To be legal in 2018, you will need to get a 2018 sticker and fill out a new registration form.  The cost is $30.00.

Remember you are to have a 12x12 SMV sign on the back, a bicycle flag that is 6 ft. in the air / you are not to ride on or along HWY 18 or on the Trail / you may cross HWY 18. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Snow Removal

69.10    SNOW REMOVAL.  No person, except physicians or other persons on emergency calls, shall park, abandon or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street, alley, or City-owned off-street parking area during snow removal operations unless the snow has been removed or plowed from said street, alley or parking area and the snow has ceased to fall.  The provisions of this section shall apply during the “snow removal season” which commences under either of the following conditions:

(Code of Iowa, 321.236[1])

1.                   The first measurable snowfall or November 1, whichever comes first; or

2.                   Snow removal operations have been commenced by the City.

Garbage Totes

          **All Garbage MUST be in the brown garbage tote. (NO EXTRA BAGS SETTING ALONG SIDE or on TOP on your tote)

          **Garbage Totes need to be set out by 7 a.m. on your garbage.

          **DO NOT SET your TOTE in the street. 

         **The lid on the garbage tote MUST be CLOSED.

               Large Items

          To dispose of large items such as chairs, couches, tables, etc, you can still buy a yellow sticker to put on the item for pickup.  Each sticker cost $2.00 each.  (Some items will take more than one sticker) - we do not pickup appliances / electronics / TV's / Tires

AmVets Post 90 - meets the 3rd Monday of each month at the AmVet Hall. 

Fredericksburg Lions- meets the 2nd and 4th Monday's of each month at the F'Burg Comm. Center.

MEALSITE is every Tuesday and Thursday at 11 a.m.  It is held in the back meeting room at City Hall / Community Center.
