It looks like it's finally here!! Harvest time that is. Even though I live in town like many of us do, please be aware of the farmers trying to get their crops out. Be cautious on the road, give them extra time and space. They are trying to make their living and we know it's been a tough a year for all of them.
Also be aware that just because you may live in town and maybe have never driven a tractor, or had your livelihood depend on this years yield, everything they are doing is affecting us in so many ways. Our community thrives on agriculture! Farmers buy gas, diesel, food, pay the bulk of the taxes and keep our small towns thriving. We have the Farmers Winn Co-op employing so many ......

Another wet week on tap for us here, it's about enough already! Remember to make sure those sump pumps are pumping the surface away from your house but not into the sanitary sewer, this causes major issues for your neighbors and our system, not to mention it's not legal!
Fall is in full swing and people are getting yards picked up and leaves raked, please remember you cannot blow your leaves and grass into the streets, it will plug our storm sewers and thus rain fall will not be able to get away!
Feel free to haul your yard waste to our yard waste site near the sewer plant but remember it is only for yard waste. Someone has been dumping other trash and that will lead to it being locked and controlled to limited hours of ...
