Fredericksburg ... Utilities
The City of Fredericksburg has their own Water, Sewer, Electric and Waste Collection Utilities.
Residential Waste Collection pickup is every Tuesday. Please have your garbage set out by 7 a.m. The City requires that all garbage is in a yellow Fredericksburg Waste Collection Bag. These bags can be purchased at the City Hall, Fredericksburg Food Center and the Hardware Hub.
Commercial Waste Collection Pickup is on various days during the week. (Contact City Hall for more details.)
Recycling -- the City of Fredericksburg requires that all residents and businesses of the City recycle. Recycling pickup is every other Thursday. The City contracts with Jendro Sanitation for the recycling pickup. Stop at City Hall to pick up your recycling bin.
The City of Fredericksburg offers a Yard Waste Pickup on Wednesdays starting in the Spring and going until late Fall. If you wish for your Yard Waste to be picked up ... it must be in a Fredericksburg Yard Waste Bag and set out by the curb. Sticks must be in bundles and also set out by the curb. Please do not set in the street. Yard Waste Bags can be purchased at the City Hall, Fredericksburg Food Center or Hardware Hub.
