It is a beautiful fall but the Snow Removal Season will be coming soon ...
69.10 SNOW REMOVAL. No person, except physicians or other persons on emergency calls, shall park, abandon or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street, alley, or City-owned off-street parking area during snow removal operations unless the snow has been removed or plowed from said street, alley or parking area and the snow has ceased to fall. The provisions of this section shall apply during the “snow removal season” which commences under either of the following conditions:
(Code of Iowa, 321.236[1])
1. The first measurable snowfall or November 1, whichever comes first; or
2. Snow removal operations have been commenced by the City.
